#1 in December 2016!

Justice League vs Suicide Squad #1 was the highest selling comic in December 2016! Not just in unit sales but in dollar sales! For all of the comics sold by Diamond!
It is easily the highest selling comic of my career. It was great to be a part of a such a huge DC Comics Event that helped DC end the year on a high note.
Thank you to all the fans and retailers who picked it up and ordered it.

It's a huge honor. I've been a Flash fan my whole life. And life can get a bit nuts sometimes. But I worked my butt off and this came as a result of that. I can't give away too much about what I'm doing with my run on the Flash but here are the solicits information for Flash Rebirth and Flash #1 coming out in June 2016

The last five years...

I posted this on Twitter but thought it'd be a good idea to post it here as well.

It's a picture of my published work shelf. With graphics to give an idea of the timeline. There are a few foreign editions in there, but you get the idea. Also this picture is already outdated as I received more trades to add to it after the picture was taken. Pretty crazy. And I still feel like I'm just getting started.

Paris...

This last September my wife and I spent a good chunk of the month on our honeymoon in Paris...
So of course we had to go to Disneyland Paris so we could ride the Phantom Manor! I'm a bit obsessed with all things Haunted Mansion, so it was a blast to get to ride one of the dark rides I hadn't been on before. I already knew the story of the ride but it was cool to see it in person and in horrifying action.
We did other stuff as well...

Secret Wars RED SKULL

Coming in July as part of Marvel's giant Secret Wars event...

A Dangerous Odyssey Across Battleworld in RED SKULL #1!
New York, NY—March 27th, 2015— Hushed whispers cut across Battleworld. One of the most vile villains in history still draws breath. But how can this be? He should be dead! And yet his legend grows even larger in the pages of RED SKULL #1 – a brand new Secret Wars limited series beginning this July! Writer Josh Williamson (Birthright, Nailbiter) and artist Luca Pizzari (Amazing Spider-Man Special) bring you a twisted tale from the bowels of Battleworld!
The Red Skull should be dead. Banished beyond the Shield long ago, if the zombies haven’t gotten to him, the Ultron robots or Annihilation bugs should have! Any yet word has reached the other side that he still lives, quietly amassing his forces, prepared to strike!
Now, a team of unlikely villains – Magneto, Winter Soldier, Lady Deathstrike, Electro, Moonstone and Jack O’Lantern will venture beyond safety to find the truth for themselves. Only problem – beyond the Shield, nobody ever comes back alive!
“I’ll be honest, this book is super dark,” promises writer Josh Williamson in an interview with Marvel.com. “It matches what you’d expect a book based around someone as horrible as the Red Skull. Prepare for a very twisted tale. If you’re a fan of my books you know I enjoy writing some pretty dark characters in some very messed up situations. Marvel has let me do that here as well.”

Witness the true horrors of Battleworld this July as Williamson & Pizzari unleash RED SKULL #1 on the masses!

Nailbiter a killer success!

“If Josh died I wish he’d leave Nailbiter to me in his will so I could say it was my idea.”
—Scott Snyder (WYTCHES, BatmanAmerican Vampire)

Joshua Williamson (GHOSTED) and Mike Henderson's (MASKS AND MOBSTERS) new series, NAILBITER, is already causing insomnia and nightmares industry-wide. The newly-released horror suspense series was announced at Image Expo in January and generated early comparisons to Twin Peaks and The Silence of the Lambs. It has sold out at the distributor level and is slated for a second printing.

Praise for NAILBITER:
“Prepare your cuticles for this masterful bit of horror.” —David Pepose, Newsarama
“In the end, Nailbiter stands on a premise so instantly enticing that you can almost see the movie trailer.” —Robert Tutton, PASTE Magazine

Nailbiter will get under your skin. That's where it's most comfortable. It'll fill you with a vague sense of dread as it drags you into the fascinating world of serial killers. It'll hold you tightly in its grip and compel you to think about the more unsettling parts of human existence. It's chilling, unique, and a total revelation for horror comics.” —Zac Thompson, Bloody Disgusting

NAILBITER #1 has completely sold out at the distributor level, but may still be available in comic stores.

It is currently available digitally on the Image Comics website (imagecomics.com) and the official Image Comics iOS app, as well as on Comixology on the web (comixology.com), iOS, Android, and Google Play.

Image Comics is pleased to announce that this first issue will be going back to print to meet customer demand. The second printing of NAILBITER #1 (Diamond Code MAR148370) will release on 6/4.
NAILBITER #2 releases 6/4 as well and will be available for pre-order with Diamond Code APR140582.

THE IRON THRONE. SDCC. ME.

Another San Diego Comic-Con has passed. I'm exhausted, but super glad I went and meet a ton of amazing people who love comics. And it was great meeting new GHOSTED fans who loved the book.
This year there was a private Walking Dead party and Weezer played. It was insane.
I've learned that in my new life I really have nothing to complain about anymore.

GHOSTED

At ECCC my new Image series with Skybound "GHOSTED" was finally announced.
Insanely twisted Interiors by Goran Sudzuka with awesome covers by Sean Philips.

It's Ocean's 11 in a Haunted House instead of a Casino!

Even though we are currently working on issue five, I can't show off to much art work yet.

BUT, I can leave you with an awesome two page spread and a link to an article with USA TODAY where I talk about it.

Been having such a blast working on this book, it's been hard to not talk about it. Can't wait for it to get out there.  It's great to write some fun pulp hero goodness. Can't wait to start really showing you what we've been doing with the character.
ALSO! Check out the wall of heroes that was a ECCC this last weekend.
