Interview on CBR.

I did an interview with Comic Book Resources about Dear Dracula, here is the link:

Comic Book Resources Dear Dracula Interview.

It's been an exciting week with lots of cool things happening. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to talk about some of them.

I missed 24 hour comic day this year, after doing them for the last 2, which both years I finished 22 page comics. They sucked, but I still did it. It's okay I missed this year's because I had a lot of work to do and managed to get it all done.

Dear Dracula this week!

This Wednesday, October 15th, the long wait is over!

Dear Dracula will in stores! You can get them in your local comic book store or online.
If you go down a few posts you will be able to see a picture I took of the advance copy I got.
Here is a link to pick it up at Amazon:

To help us celebrate its release, my good buddy and in some ways creative care taker, Jason Ho, drew up this Dear Dracula piece.

Go to his website and bask in all its glorious wonder.

Newsarama's Can't wait for Wednesday by Kevin Melrose made Dear Dracula his pick of the week! He writes a little post about it:

Kevin Church's web site The Rack, a web strip about a comic book store mentioned Dear Dracula today:

Rocky 2

As some of you know Rocky is my favorite movie of all time.
It's motivational, inspirational and has so many life lessons it's crazy.
Rocky 2 is also quite a gem.
I could quote all the movies for hours, but recently I was thinking about this little chain of dialogue from Rocky 2:

Reporter: Rocky, your pay for the fight will be very substantial. What will you do with the money.

Rocky Balboa: Well, the first thing I gotta do is I gotta pay the rent. And then I made this list on our way over here. I'd like to buy a couple hats, a motorcycle, a couple quarts of perfume for Adrian she likes to smell good. And some Muppet toys you know, Ernie, Big Bird. And the frog what's his name? Kermit?

Mickey: Yeah.

Rocky Balboa: And I thought maybe a statue for the church and a snow cone machine for you, Paulie. You like snow cones right?

Reporter: Rocky do you have something derogatory to say about the champ?

Rocky Balboa: Derogatory? Yeah, he's great.

My writing has been coming along great and I've been really happy with it, which of course means in a few months I'll look back on it and hate it with a passion. Been a few busy months, but it will all play off and I'll have some cool stuff to show soon.

Mark Walberg

Andy Samberg does a great Marky Mark.

Some other random side notes:

The rain has started.

I love the Lego Indiana Jones game on the Wii. One of the most fun games ever.

The New Rambo was awesome.

Writing is coming along well. Should have some cool stuff done and to talk about soon. :)
